§ 20-7. Residential and commercial fees.

(a)

The monthly residential and commercial collection fees shall be established by resolution of the city council and may be changed or amended by subsequent resolution of the city council from time to time as the council deems necessary. A copy of the fee schedule shall be on file in the office of the city clerk and shall be open to inspection by any citizen.

(b)

The monthly fee for garbage collection shall be included on the water bill each month. Partial payments are applied to all fees other than the water bill first and any balance is then applied to the water bill. Owners or occupants of premises which do not use water shall be billed monthly by separate billings for the appropriate garbage fee for their premises. Any residential or commercial structure with active water service will be charged for garbage service.
