§ 20-10. Certain matter not to be placed in receptacles.

  • (a)

    Dead animals or animal parts, poisons, explosives, dangerous or corrosive chemicals, clothing taken from persons with infectious diseases, paint, heavy metals or metal parts, lumber, dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete blocks, tires, crates and other refuse from construction or remodeling shall not be placed in receptacles used for regular collection service.

    (b)

    Human and animal feces and materials impregnated with urine must be properly enclosed in a leakproof bag before being placed in receptacles used for regular collection service.

    (c)

    Medical waste must be contained properly.
